Medieval Workshops - St Mary's Guildhall, Coventry

Thank you
"I would just like to say what a wonderful time myself, my partner and our four children had on Monday 20th Aug at St Mary's Guildhall at the Medieval music and Merry dance.  We had a wonderful time with the arts and crafts making 'Knights Helmets'. The staff were very helpful and enthusiastic, the Music was great and the dancing fun, and it was lovely to see all the different instruments, we have never had the opportunity to see these before and would not know where to go to see them either.  So thank you to who ever organised the event we really had a great day, and the fact that this was a free event was brilliant.  It makes a refreshing change and is nice to know that there are still Establishments that are interested in acknowledging our own history in England. Well done and thank you to all involved."  Parent

Part of a letter received from Juanita Watson (BA (Hons). C.Ed., CT ABRSM, ALCM ) Director of Music, St. Mary's Church, Hobs Moat, Solihull, after the Early Music Man performed at the church on 7th February 2007.

Dear Terry
Thank you so much for coming to St. Mary's Church on Wednesday and presenting your programme to us. It was greatly enjoyed by us all.
It was lovely to be shown the instruments and hear about them as well as hear them played. Your two "new students" were most impressed with being able to try out the crumhorn. Personally I don't think I had much success with it but it was most exciting to try!
There were so many people on Sunday (at church) who were not able to come on the Wednesday to your recital and who were sorry to have missed it, that I think we may well be inviting you back at some time.
Again our thanks for giving us such an enjoyable evening,
With kind regards
Juanita Watson
